The laying of the foundation stone at the first Ronald McDonald House on the island took place on October 15. It was performed by Konstantinos Ioannou, minister of health, Cyprus.
Την Πέμπτη 15 Οκτωβρίου 2020 πραγματοποιήθηκε, στο πλαίσιο μίας σεμνής τελετής, η κατάθεση του Θεμέλιου Λίθου στο πρώτο Ronald McDonald House από τον Υπουργό Υγείας, κ. Κωνσταντίνο Ιωάννου. Πρόκειται για το δεύτερο έργο του Ronald McDonald House Charities Κύπρου (RMHC Κύπρου), μετά τη δημιουργία κλινικής για παιδιά με καρδιακές παθήσεις στο Νοσοκομείο Αρχιεπίσκοπος Μακάριος ΙΙΙ, στη Λευκωσία.
The ceremony was attended by the minister of health, the mayor of Strovolos, the honorary president of RMHC Cyprus, the president and the members of the board of RMHC Cyprus, as well as representatives of the media. During the specific ceremony, Agiasmos took place and then, short speeches by the official guests followed.
